2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 3,300 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 6 years to get that many views.

A Wondrous Place – Durham Book Festival

In October 2012 New Writing North kindly invited me, as part of the Northern Spirit project, to attend the Durham Book Festival, the North East’s biggest annual celebration of books and new writing. Their support enabled me to meet kindred spirits from other North of England cities who have contributed to the ‘A Wondrous Place’ digital space over recent months – Hayley Flynn, Amy Roberts, Amy Mackelden, along with Chris Meads, theatre director of the project.

Here’s my cartoon perspective on our time together!
